Atlas Font Foundry

The digital typefaces published by the Atlas Font Foundry are largely extended families, that find their use in print as well as digital media. The challenge was to design a visual identity that underlines the range of applications as well as the impact a typeface has to any visual identity.

We created a sophisticated visual identity system with a technical and rather undesigned atmosphere. Constant elements are the symbol, logotype, a scalable grid system and the heavily reduced color palette. The construction of the symbol allows a combination with all typefaces of it’s library — this way the products become an integrated module in the identity system.
